The Hawke Endurance ED 8×42 Binocular has BAK4 roof prisms that are phase-corrected, ED glass, and fully multi-coated optics to create a versatile optic that delivers clear, high-contrast images with accurate color reproduction and minimal color-fringing. Paired with the optical characteristics are 42mm diameter objectives, providing the binocular with excellent performance in low-light conditions while also offering a 129m field of view at 1000m and a wide apparent angle of view. The Endurance is perfectly designed for a variety of outdoor activities such as hunting, birding, and sporting events, thanks to its blend of optics and objectives which minimize hand shake compared to stronger binoculars.

Adding to the optical performance are features in the design that enhance the durability and ease of use of the binocular. They possess a full-size top hinge chassis that is coated with lightweight rubber. Rubber armouring covers the optical tubes, providing protection from drops and impacts while also offering a slip-resistant grip in cold and wet conditions. The optical tubes are both waterproof and fog proof due to being purged with Nitrogen gas. An adjustment for the right eye’s diopter enables customization of the binoculars to suit the majority of people, while the twist-up eyecups ensure comfortable use with or without glasses.
